Nearly 11,000 entries from 25 countries and regions, judged by 133 renowned design experts from 20 countries and regions: together they make a shared statement of love for design.

The three-day final jury session of the iF Design Award 2023 has drawn to a close in Berlin. The numbers bear witness to everyone's hard work and leave us with a real sense of achievement. The 2023 jury reached remarkable results and a truly distinctive selection. Here is a closer look.

Founded in 1953, the iF Design Award is presented every year by iF Industrie Forum Design in Hanover, Germany's oldest industrial design institution.

Known worldwide for judging that is independent, rigorous and reliable, the award sets out to raise public awareness of design. Its most prestigious honour, the Gold Award, is often called the Oscar of product design.

iF Design Night 2023

The awards ceremony, iF Design Night 2023, takes place in May at the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin. On 15 May 2023, every winner is invited to Berlin for the celebration, and we look forward to being there with you.

Award-Winning Project: KClighting Global Flagship Showroom

Invited by KClighting to design its global flagship showroom in China's capital of decorative lighting, E Studio set out to move beyond the conventional idea of a lighting store. After rethinking what a commercial space is for, the studio created a new, future-facing retail experience that conveys its vision to the world through technology and art.
